

Odom Visionary Leadership Award
I was honored to be the recipient of Jump$tart’s prestigious Odom Visionary Leadership Award, presented by the legendary Bill Odom himself. The award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to financial education for their leadership, vision and length of service. This was my second Jump$tart’s award. I received the first one when I chaired the FDIC. Thank you Jump$tart’s for recognizing my long and continuing commitment to financial education.

April School Book Tour
April was full of financial literacy events. I spent the better part of a week touring upstate New York and Pennsylvania, reading my Money Tales picture books to elementary school students and talking with high school students about my new book, How Not to Lose a Million Dollars.
